Rowan: "What a darling!"

Is the comment she left in defence of her friend and fellow
student (of The Courtauld Institute) “Mixing it Up” when
she attracted an unkind comment last Monday…

I am really confused about the comments - and starting to worry I might have blundered: I have mentioned on another blog that this kind of silhouette, large on top with very skinny jeans does not work. It makes people look like a gigantic Magnum ice cream bar! In these pictures, the proportions seem about right, though. The jeans are not scarily thin (I think she could do with wider trousers, or perhaps even a wide skirt). Basically, just to say: I am simply giving my opinion not trying to be disparaging.

Thanks a lot for introducing me to the blogs on Rio and Buenos Aires street styles. I look forward to reading them on a regular basis.

HAHAHA! As a matter of fact its very silly to say that close fitting trousers do not "work". Its a lot like saying that the human body "doesn't work". If you notice, skinny jeans just follow the outline of the human leg. Legs do not become wide at the ankle. I realize you are just stating your opinion, but God doesn't agree. I love skinny jeans. the most comfortable and friendly thing anyone can wear. They go great with everything, but especially a big roomy top. I love the furry thing, and that hat is wonderful. Please don't listen to the idiots. Especially confused idiots. Your look is perfect and casually excellent.
